n the wake of several recent suicides, the Crow Creek Sioux tribe is working with the Bureau of Indian affairs, the Indian Health Services’ suicide prevention team, and the Crow Creek Circles of Care organization to increase prevention efforts. As a result of the initial meeting of these groups, a new suicide prevention task force that includes community agencies, churches and tribal departments has been formed.
